ACTION ALERT: House Vote On Health Care Reform Imminent!

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on historic health care reform legislation this weekend. Your Representative needs to hear from you right now!

Please contact your Representative immediately and ask him or her to support H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act!

Congress needs to pass comprehensive health care reform and the public option is a vital component. On Saturday, November 7, the House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on the Affordable Health Care for America Act, H.R. 3962. Congress needs to hear that Americans want real health care reform. Opponents of reform are concentrating on the public insurance option because they know it is the key to controlling costs and ensuring consumer choice.

The League of Women Voters believes that Congress must pass H.R. 3962. Our health care is too important to be left only to private insurance companies.
