Welcome to the LWV
of Saginaw County

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, has fought since 1920 to improve our systems of government and impact public policies through citizen education and advocacy. The League's enduring vitality and resonance comes from its unique decentralized structure.

The League of Women Voters is strictly nonpartisan; it neither supports nor opposes candidates for office at any level of government. At the same time, the League is wholeheartedly political and works to influence policy through advocacy. It is the original grassroots citizen network, directed by the consensus of its members nationwide.

Saturday, February 27

12:00 noon

Zauel Library

Keynote Speaker

Joyce M. Geary, M.D.

RSVP 799-9646 by February 24

Please take this opportunity to hear about the important steps you can take to protect your heart’s health from a local physician who is an expert in the field.

This free luncheon is a friend raising meeting. As a member of the League, you know that the LWV is an organization where smart, active leaders work to create lasting change in the community. For 90 years, the members our LWV have worked on civic improvement issues, published the Voter Guide and held candidate forums to educate voters, and advocated for good government

We hope that you will take this opportunity to introduce your friends to your fellow LWV members --and to the LWV, where you are a part of an organization where smart, active leaders create lasting change in their communities.
