The League of Women Voters is strictly nonpartisan; it neither supports nor opposes candidates for office at any level of government. At the same time, the League is wholeheartedly political and works to influence policy through advocacy. It is the original grassroots citizen network, directed by the consensus of its members nationwide.

LWVUS PRESIDENT TO VISIT MICHIGAN

 Elisabeth MacNamara will visit eleven states during a national tour, and Michigan is one of them! While in Michigan, she will spend time in Grosse Pointe, Lansing, Holland, Kalamazoo and Bloomfield Hills/Oakland County. As soon as definite times and locations are determined, a complete itinerary will be posted on the LWVMI web site.
